Invitation to attend the

13th European Carrom Championships

(under the auspices of the European Carrom Confederation)

from 9th to 13th July in Lenk, Switzerland

Dear Carrom friends

We would like to invite you to the 13th European Carrom Championships from 9th to 13th July 2009 in Lenk/Simmental. The international premiere tournament will take place at KUSPO (Kurs- und Sportzentrum, www.kuspo.ch), located in the beautiful countryside in the middle of the Alps (close to the Bern). In total, approximately 120 participants from all around Europe are expected to attend this tournament.
Accommodation, meals and the tournament itself are all at the same venue. Most of the rooms are 4-bedded rooms.

Registration:

Registrations are to be sent by Email by the corresponding federation to the address below.
It is not possible to consider registrations from individual players!!!

When you register please provide for every player the following information:

• Personal Data:
  Name, Sex, Date of Birth, Player or Non-Player.


• Meals:
  You can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals.


• Journey and time of arrival:
  Please let us know what mode of transport you intend to use and what time you expect to arrive.

Remittance:

The entry fee is 333 sFr. (about 220 Euro) for shared accommodation from Thursday evening, the 9th until Monday morning, the 13th. The price for Non-Players is same as for Players.
Each federation has to pay the complete entry fee for all registered players by 1st May 2009.

Discount for under 18:  20%
Discount for under 7:    50%
Discount for under 2:  100%

What is included:

The package includes the following:

• 4 nights in 4-bedded rooms
• all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Ice-Tea at the tournament
• all starting fees
• prizes / souvenir for every participant
• evening program

Player quotas

The player quotas per country are according to the regulations of the European Carrom Confederation. We can accept registrations up until 1st May 2009. The total number of players is 120. The maximum number of participants from each country is about 20.

Please note that once registered, the remittance for the entry fee has to be received by 1st May 2009. Registrations without remittance will not be considered after this date.

Free places after the registration deadline:

Once the registration date has expired, free player contingents will be sent to those countries participating and in a second round any free places will be given to those on the waiting list. This will take place according to ECC directives once the deadline has expired. Any subsequent registrations will be handled according to the above.
